Here’s a closeup, about 3/4s done on this Wralda “ Genesis”. I’m fired up for August- these are just the exploratory beginnings.

An inside look into my studio, at a bunch of works in progress. This wall is set aside for human figure/portrait studies which relate to my exploration of the codex Oera Linda-all part of a show I’ll be exhibiting in August.

You bring up some interesting connections- There’s a fascinating ongoing discussion around Frisland’s toponyms! It would seem that Nicolò Zeno the Younger had in his possession a map, with or without place names, to which he appended his own names to accord with his spurious account of his ancestors...

Thank you very much tstrooper. I like to daydream away about the Oera Linda with my pencil and sketchbooks. I think of the tetrahedron as one of the Platonic solids, the one symbolizing fire.
