Re: Hi from the Iberian peninsula
Hello Jan,
thanks a lot for this reply, and for the excellent work you did on your research of the Oera Linda.
I am sorry that my initial words disturbed your mod that much, that he changed my post without even mentioning he edited it. In my point of view, he made a major part of my post meaningless. Therefore, I deleted the whole post. I did not make a copy. The mod should have made a copy before he made any changes?
The part I wrote that got censored, was about me explaining how the Oera Linda confirms Mathis' et al idea that the Phoenicians started the 'first' global trading empire, and how they managed to stay our hidden rulers until this day. But they got a lot of credits for inventions of the Fryans.
For me that is very relevant for everyone interested in the Oera Linda. For understanding why no one in the mainstream science dares to touch the Oera Linda, and why not to expect that to change any time soon.
Right now I don't feel like re writing the whole post, but maybe soon I can elaborate some things. At least I am happy to learn this forum can handle a little bit of free speech. Like I wrote, I am partly Phoenician/Jewish myself, so can I please say something without getting that antisemite label? Its not about we or them, but I see in the Fryans a desire of freedom, having a good life without making trouble with your neighbour. The Phoenicians don't like to work, they prefer things like usury and slavery. If that is hate speech, I don't even want to participate in this forum.
My point of joining here, is my search for truth. To understand the present we need to have a true understanding of the past. I don't have any hidden agendas to spread hate or whatever. I am a fan of good manners, so I won't start 'behaving bad' here. But I might be considered a danger, by those same monks the Oera Linda talks about.
Thanks again, Jan.

Re: Hi from the Iberian peninsula
As you previously noted, there is a connection between the Dutch "dank je wel" and the Hindi term "dhanyavaad" (धन्यवाद). It is plausible that this influence stems from the Geartmen, a subject you mentioned in your post. A similar relationship can be observed between the word "Sanskrit" and "Standskrift." Jan recently initiated a thread in which he examined the potential origins of archaic names that may have been left behind by the Geartmen. One notable example is the old region of Carmania, which is believed to have been named after them.

Welcome Friedrich!
I like your reasoning and look forward to read more.

Re: Hi from the Iberian peninsula
Thanks for making me feel welcome, Jan and Coco.
To elaborate some things about the Phoenicians; they ment nothing until neef Teunis created Tyre. Until recently, I tended to follow the mainstream idea of Tyre being founded by the Sidonians.
From Tyre many colonies sprang, most notably Carthago. So the Tyrians are a mix of the three races according to the OLB, and the Fryan part comes from Teunis and his comrades. Then when things went south in Athens, quite a number of boats from Tyre joined the Geartmen and as I assume, intermixed with them in the following twelve centuries in India. When they returned to Frisia, the Geartmen mixed with the local Frisians, with as a result a certain amount of Phoenician DNA for the average Frisian.
So that both explains Mathis' claims about the Vikings being Phoenician, and why the people of Canaan sometimes have blonde or red hair, since antiquity.
So far I see it, the Phoenicians and Fryans had a lot of contact and mixing between them. Both groups seem to have had a great global impact. But where the Fryans used their weapons for defense, they sold their tin to the Phoenicians, and they just used everything they got to let their mercenaries conquer other lands, and let their slaves dig for the gold, let their moneychangers enslave the remaining free people.
I am not saying everything Phoenician is bad, and all about Fryas people is lovely. But as leading peoples, as a ruling class, they should honor noblesse oblige. To me it seems the Fryas were better at that, but unfortunately they seem to have lost the epic fight for a free life. But the war took many centuries.
Like I mentioned in my initial deleted post, it seems my Phoenician ancestors lived in medieval Xativa (Valencia), possibly where the paper came from to write the 1256 copy of the OLB. Moorish Spain was clearly ruled by the Phoenicians (see Gutenberg for some good old books about the Moors and the 'Hebrew' influence), so at least they can have the credit of helping to save the OLB for the future..
