the devine feminine is on the cutting edge of todays issues

Post by Kraftr »

Maybe you've heard of the wifejak-meme and the little controversy around it lately. People were already saying on twitter that wifejak is Frya, or wifejak is Festa.
Memes and myth are related and this video makes the connection and it's just beautiful how something so flimsy as a little hype around a meme contrasts with the true depth it touches upon, and how eloquently he lays it out.

Quality channel, he has a new video I'm watching tonight ; 'Ep. 22 - Awakening to Our Cultural Crisis - A Proto-Indo-European Sovereignty Goddess?'

It is possible that the Wifejak meme is merely an articulation of an innate human tendency. A relevant quotation from the video, located at the 15:45 mark, is provided below for reference:
As much as these goddesses are symbols for human nature, so do Wifejak and memes generally also point to aspects of human nature and the psyche. Myths in any narrative are really symbols that reveal deeper truths if correctly understood. They are projections of the unconscious mind, a way for humans to externalise their internal worlds. So memes, at their core, are modern symbols that externalise collective thoughts, desires and fears, and they can be seen as micronarratives or symbols that express our unconscious thoughts, societal commentary and cultural trends — much like ancient myths did as well, as ancient myths also were evolving things, not static.
One could further posit that art itself is ultimately a form of self-expression and a medium for establishing connections with others. Hence, generated images are inherently devoid of soul, as they lack the transfer of an inner image from the mind to the canvas, the documentation of a genuine location through photography, the transfer of an inner song to a musical score, or the transposition of an inner narrative to the page.

I believe and really hope so. I've spotted some AI 'did you know'/'the secret to' content and knowing about the platitudes generic and erronious nature and that there is no person posing this as his/hers is instant discard for me. But many people seem to accept and use the veils and masks of shallow inauthentic stuff as a reality. Some of the art and content is written, stolen or guided enough to actually be considered some human connection still, blurring the line.
