My name is Wim.
I listened to Jan Ott in several podcasts and decided to read the OLB.
I was born and raised near the borders of the Oosterschelde, speak Zeeuws dialect and can sometimes see relations between the text and our dialect. As a sailor my favourite wind is “ruume wind”, for instance.
Besides this I love sailing, I mainly live on my boat. In 2023 I sailed from the Spanish east-coast to Zeeland. This year (2024) I sailed from Zeeland to the North, along the Danish west-coast, through the Limfjord onto the Kattegat. I recognise things being told in the OLB and want to share things that might be interesting to other OLB readers.

Welcome to the forum. Life at sea is indeed a big part of the Fryas self-understanding. Please share your findings!
