Hello everyone

Letter X is used pretty scarcely troughout OL MS, one possible reason being that ''TEX'' itself ends with this letter. I thought it would be reasonable to make a list of words used in the MS of all the words that include this letter, so somebody might get a better picture of the whole. I think that these separate letters hold separate meanings (similar to ÉWA: OL eng. transl. 2022 by JO - watch 2g, 4e, 13e, 13f and others), and it seems that way, as I'm presenting it right here. I'd also like to emphasize that I'm not putting any agenda of my own inside this post, for one reason being that I'm somewhat weirded out by some of the views held within MS myself, so please comment about the possible improvements so I may keep this post up to date if there are details you find to be mistakes or of similar nature, so I may fix it. I'm mentioning this so the reader does not confuse my interpretation of the MS with their interpretation of me having an agenda.

The list's focus is in the chronological appearance of the words based on the OL MS itself, but besides this I tried to group the words in a somewhat orderly way. Page number (p.) is based on the latest revised edition by Jan Ott, 2022. Some ''note'':s within brackets are usually just small notices showing from where on different variations begin to occur, because, like the avid readers are already aware, how throughout the OL MS the language is little different here and there - almost chronologically, because the MS starts with The Book of Adela Followers where the first chapter is followed by the writings copied from the burg walls (we might expect them to be the oldest ones).

"Ah! vous dirai-je, maman" (French: [a vu diʁeʒ(ə) mamɑ̃], English: Oh! Shall I tell you, Mama) is a popular children's song in France. Since its composition in the 18th century, the melody has been applied to numerous lyrics in multiple languages – the English-language song "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" is one such example. It was adapted in Twelve Variations on "Ah vous dirai-je, Maman" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
According to Henri-Irénée Marrou, the origin of the melody is an anonymous pastoral song dating from 1740, with children's lyrics added relatively recently. The melody was first published in 1761.

A big question is why do we have the letter X existing in the first place. Is it just a short written form of KS? I know the Bock family saga sees a story in it (two family lines crossing) and Romans/Christians make a number out of it (hidden also into the Finnish number system yhdeksän 'nine' or 'one [yksi, yhden] out of ten', kahdeksan 'eight' or 'two [kaksi, kahden] out of ten').

Don't get me even started with letter C that always seems to be just another confusing way to say S or K...
