Dutch/Frisian Alternative History?

Post by tatehiebert »

Hey there, I’ve been really interested in connecting with my ancestry, and so I’ve looked into the official history of the Netherlands.

However I’m very aware that there is so much manipulation, cover ups and total whitewashing with history… there’s been many resets in the past that go under the guise of wars, famines, revolutions, etc.

Does anyone know of sources to learn about Dutch/Frisian history from this perspective that what is officially told isn’t necessarily the truth? Like alternative history with things like resets and historical manipulation in mind?

You should learn what tribes you're from, my dad's jewish side of the family looks like the cimbri tribe's people and the cimbri/cimmerians from the scythian empire wear the same hat as the logo of the amsterdam soccer club Ajax, that side of my family is from AMSTERDAM! Meaning I likely have cimmerian which became cimbri tribe in west germany and denmark over 1000 years ago. :o
My mom's side knows they're frisian but based on hair texture we probably were mixed spanish. It's things like these you need to figure out.

So my tip to you would be figure out what you know about your family and study their looks to find tribes who look similar and you will probably have a part of that tribes dna.

Also you can definitely recognize if people are part saxon/spanish and other groups that are well spread. There's certain features like the smaller stocky build of saxons and their straight hair and long faces with long noses and smaller eyes that are super recognizable when you've been looking for these tribes. Also geographically where you're from definitely matters.

My bad I didn't realize you were looking for earlier signs of lineage, the more archaic type.

check this for unknown story of the dutch genetics specifically.

and check this if you are really into potential mythology behind frisians.
