I think it's pretty clear that the meaning of wr.alda is this simple. But it's confusing, even for me who is neither a christian nor a gnostic, because in most spiritualities, the world is seen as something bad. This reality is seen as evil.

Therefore, gnosticism and judaism and islam and most other religions nowadays have a completely opposite morality to that of Frya. Christianity is weird because the language they use, about sinning for example, is that the worldly things are bad and satanic. But the actual religion, which is about the holy spirit given through jesus christ, is same thing as the spirit or wants of this world, only seen by consciousness.

Gnosticism says this reality was created by the demiurge, who is supposedly evil, meaning gnosticism is an inversion of true Frya morality and spirituality. Gnosticism for me also always gives me a headache anyway, because this reality clearly creates itself and keeps itself in perpetual existence or something like that, there is no outside creator.

So to translate the oera linda text, into my own words: What this reality wants and does, is the only perfectly good thing there is. And what this reality wants for your life, which would be wr.alda's spirit, can only be found through consciousness of the intention of everything everywhere(all in all).

The meaning as 'world' survived explicitly in Norse context, where Freyr survived as veraldar goð, or 'god of the world'. Thus Wralda-Frya forms the Freyr-Freyja pair. Lappish Vearalden Olmai or Waralden Olmai echo the same god name.

In OL usage the Atlantic Ocean is called Wralda's Sea or 'world-sea' (MS 047: "WR.ALDAS SÉ"). The name Atlantic Ocean comes from prince Atlas of Atlantis (Shu to ancient Egyptians), who is likewise shown as carrying the heavens (an Egyptian example here) and his later Islamic counterpart is an angel carrying the world.

The way the name is spelled (written)in OL, it would have already in archaic past been readable to any Germanic speaker also as 'ancient-old' or 'over-old' (e.g as in modern German Ur-Alte). The Finns the OL Frisians combat have been identified as the Fornjót lineage Finns, whose ancestor name literally means likewise 'ancient-giant' (Old Norse fórn-jotr) and whose native (Kave Ukko, Kaleva) titles include 'eternal ancient-giant' (SKVR Finnish ikuinen iku-turilas ie. þurs or frost-giant). In their own mythology they derive themselves and whole of mankind from first humans Frei and Freia, or Sampo and Aino (link, academic archive name, dating) - that is the same archetype as Frisian "Wralda" and "Frya". Thus we see the alternative understanding as 'old' for Wralda would have been culturally present and known to any Frisians.

The 'world' exists within Wralda's spirit, which is infinite. This doesn't mean everything in within Wralda's life is a part of him, just that he facilitates the existence for all things. I liken this to how we support the life of micro-organisms within us, and they are technically a part of us yet they are a separate entity. We also see instances in the OL of things that are imbued with Wralda's spirit - implying some things are not in-line with him.

You are correct on many things here.The condemnation of the world is the fundamental pain of religion that we are at the end of(see McGillcrist for instance; the rightbrain, humanity, lifejoy, nature, wonder etcetera should be levelled up to the status where rationality is, it was Goethe's complaint with enlightenment too).
The word gnosticism is used to mean different things. In its pure form it is just seeing the patterns and archetypes of mythology and religion, like trinity, the material vs the spiritual, hierarchies, elements, upper-,middle- and underworld, male-feminin, dualism etc. So gnosticism is to those subjects what sociology is for human behaviour. But like sociology when there is an agenda in the suppositions, or an agenda driven use of gnostic patterns the fighting and falsehoods start. That's where it overlaps with what is sometimes called magic. But knowing about magic or gnostic patterns is usefull. There is the light and the dark path.
In today's discourse I would say someone like James Lindsay correctly sees the malevolent gnosticism in the left/Marxist thought, but not in his own thinking or spells. Likewise the condemnation of gnosticism was used by Christians, not seeing the archetypes in their own faith.

Then there is this theory in Abrahamics that God has a plan with you and peoples. In the old world all of Europe saw God(s) as separate from our lives, beyond morals too. Abrahamics changed that. I think what is so wondrfull of the cosmology of Fryas is that it is fixes fundamental controversies of European thought. It works with Nietzschean nihilism because Wralda is not like the Abrahamic gods as he doesn't have a plan or meaning for us individually. But for that we have Frya a symbol of familial unity and love and purpose for us European family/humans of middle earth. In Frya there is morality; all of Cristian goodness, caritas, friendship, loyalty, the classics with reason, justice.. -but we know it all is a cultural human thing and not Wraldas concern. It's up to us, as Fryas children.
It is not cursing or blessing any ethnicity. Even though the Findas are the quintessential enemy or darkside, OL condemns their hubris, desires and lies, even recognizes different attutudes as engrained in the other races, it doesn't curse the people and their progeny for ever as categorical as do Abrahamists - who thus cloak their conquest; they have a plan, a caste for you in their dogma and blame it on 'God's WIll'. OL recommends disengaging, not anihilation toward enemies even warning that we would get blowback, wisdom we see proven today. It constantly has peace as a goal to get the best results. This does not mean they are naive pascifists either. They claim the selfevident right to defend and create safe havens for justice to be maintained, and protect and teach freedom from slavery. All these things are very practical and obviously virtuous precepts.
Fryas recognised sophistry, idolatry, mysticism and carnavaltricks as subversive, even a wartactic. With that it is very sympathetic with and sometimes in the past even understood as atheism. Not that they weren't mystical in some way, but were genuine and intelligently commited to truth, not spells and comfort. It presents a more sane world -before Delphi and others like the Cybelecult. Those were the kind of sjamanist traditions that Fryas mothers seem to have outgrown.
So it is the best of all these worlds and matching them with any filosophy seems to just clear up many things, it really is like a skeleton key to me, setting everything straight, and making all mythology come alive and make more sense to me too. It is a viewpoint to measure all of it; rediscover faith, reason, vigilance. Where we can find ethical borders to universalism pushed by Christian morals and come home to the sensibility of caring for our kin first. It is ridiculous (and hostile) to be put in a position where that is shamefull. That's why we accept cultural pride from anybody else!
For that reason, if it is just a Rennaissance fantasy of a Rousseauian natural state, I'm fine with identifying with that still, and it should be a religion, because all of this proves it 'most correct'.

Yess, and the oera linda is the only culture with loving and happy people as it's consequence, without parasitic zionist interference etc, as christianity might get you there 60% of the way. As soon as I read the bible I'm reminded of the lies we were told for generations, and therefore cannot call myself a christian.
