heraldic clues

Post by Kraftr »

On a side note, the three Magi who came to visit Christ, reminds me of the trhee Brahmans who survived the trip to Europe to pay tribute to Dionysos.
The common representation of these Magi/Kings as a black, eastern and a more Santa Claus looking king, reminds me of the three mothers of OLM. Or (ostro)Goth Finda, Persian/Finda and Arab/southern mediterenean Phoenician Finda? LIke a pact/ approval of Christian religion?
Lately I found these heraldic shields attributed to them; the stars (Pleiades?), Ashera/Baal moon and star(can be interpreted as zorastrian), and the Lyda Moor with a red flag (of Nef Teunis?)
below a good video on the double headed eagle I sometimes considered maybe a good symbol to use to indentify Magi in my drawings(instead of cresent moon and star).
It even mentions standing on a 'pillow' by kings, reminding of Nordic's post of the boss-stone, and a backward story of travel/conquest, perhaps.

Please tell us more of that - never heard of that story before.

The Levantine Christians thought there were three groups of messengers (about 12 in each) and the names of the Biblical magis are the leaders of those three diplomatic missions. The Persian magis had calculated well in advance that something important would happen astronomically at that point and thus knew well beforehand to be looking for any anomalies in the starry sky. Similar stories were known to other Christians under the Balaam story (link).

Some think the Nordic story of Unaman, Sunaman and Vineman (link) is a reflection of three magis story. The names bear a strange relation to Untamo the Finnish SKVR name of Odin, Sunna or Sól the Norse name for 'sun' and Väinämöinen the leading Finnish figure, spelled "Vine" in later occult traditions along with other Nordic and Norse saga characters (The Discoverie of Witchcraft, 1584).

About the Three Brahman; I don't know, probably in a 'Gnostic Informant' video half a year ago or more. It was mentioned by a roman writer, (or) that they arrived in Rome for some honoring, I'm now not even sure if it wasn't Apollo or an inauguration of a Ceasar, it stood out to me they were Indian sages, and how it resembled the nativity scene because they were three (all others in their pious expedition died before reaching destination).
I tried finding the video but no luck sofar.

Thank you for the clues. No worries, I too often have that same situation.
